“Lollar P-90s have a warm, full tone with the clarity and articulation associated with larger single-coils from the late ‘50s. You’ll get a balanced output between the neck and bridge positions along with an expressive dynamic range.”
Use the sizing chart below to determine the correct size Dogear to order. For additional information please read: Important Notes On Dogear Sizing and Casino/Wildkat Models.

Output: Avg. DC: Neck 8.2K, Middle 8.73K, Bridge 9.1K
PLEASE NOTE: You can also purchase a Shim Pack for Dogear pickups, which contains the six most commonly used shims. They can also be stacked for optimal height.
The exact set of the neck can vary from guitar to guitar so there is no way of knowing exactly what thickness of shim(s) your guitar will need until you’ve got the instrument on the work bench.
Our best recommendation is to use our shim pack, which contains the six most commonly used shims, plus two oversized shims for use in humbucker-size routs. Shims can be stacked to achieve a variety of heights.
The Shim Pack includes the shims of the following thicknesses: (2) 1/32″, (2) 1/16″, (1) 3/32″, (1) 1/8″ and (2) oversize.
No returns on shims. No customizing of the shim pre-pack.
