EA-X1C HPL Acoustic Guitar w/ Cutaway
Designed for consistent musical tones and playability in all types of weather and humidity, no need to worry about scratches or pick-wear. Incredible playability and value.
Enya X1 Series Folk Acoustic Guitars
Following the footsteps of Martin Guitar’s historical HPL models, Enya has designed and created an acoustic guitar with true resonance and tone, a great neck and low action that is quite comfortable to play, whilst using sustainable and durable materials. Using the 41 inch Advanced Jumbo dreadnought design, made famous by Gibson in the 1930’s, the X1 series has a focused and balanced tone, that blends well with vocals, and offers a deep bass, a clear mid-range and highs that have a crispness and brilliance that shines through.
HPL – The Future of Guitars
Imagine a guitar that you can gig with, in all weather, in any humidity, anywhere around the world, and as easily around a campfire, as sitting in a hot car, or knocking about at home – scratch resistant and durable. An instrument with consistency, musicality, playability, and a sound quality somewhere between a regular laminate and a solid wood guitar. Acoustic artists like Ed Sheeran know this all too well. HPL made with phenolic polymers has been known for its acoustic and resonant properties for decades. The Enya Guitar company has taken this technology to the next level, with their Koa-patterned HPL construction for the X1. Using this material means that the instrument is far less likely to affected by humidity and temperature changes, and can provide a much more even and consistent tone.
Richlite – Fingerboards of the Future
Originally developed over 70 years ago, Richlite has proven to be incredibly durable, extremely versatile and a highly sustainable material to use for fingerboards. After two decades of research and discussions with guitarists, Gibson determined that Richlite was not only the best alternative to woods like ebony, but was actually superior. It is also scratch, heat, and stain-resistant, and has better stability and tonal qualities. Many guitar players feel strings bend more smoothly on a Richlite fingerboard.
