A very common problem with vintage and modern Wahs is while in bypass mode, its buffer is still in the signal chain, resulting in the coloring of your guitar tone. Sometimes even making it dull and lifeless.

The solution is the True Bypass mod which will take the Wah conpletely out of the signal chain when it is off. You can choose to install an LED to indicate the Wah's status.
